Our first goal once we have arrived at a customers home is to locate and confirm identity of the Wildlife that has intruded onto their property.
Our number one goal is to keep our customers safe. Bobcats can pose a serious threat to young children and small pets. We would like to elliminate that threat as soon as possible.
This may be a tough task with a bobcat. However, if there were a situation where animals were enter under a fence or hiding in a struture, we can take measure to help discurage them from using those areas.
The main difference between bobcats and cats is their size. Bobcats are twice as large as cats on average. Their tails are also different, as bobcats have short, stubby tails. Cats are also domestic animals while bobcats are wild.
If you keep a bobcat as a pet, you might have a difficult time finding a veterinarian that is willing to handle them and treat them if they become injured or sick.
Like most species of cat, the bobcat is an excellent jumper. Despite their size, they have enough power in their legs to easily clear a six-foot fence. In fact, they could almost clear two six-foot fences as they are known to be able to jump up to 12 feet high.
Bobcats aren’t slow. In fact, they’re actually very fast. Bobcats have a top speed of 34 mph.
The bobcat could simply be passing through to get somewhere else. Secondly, and probably the most likely reason is that they’ve been attracted by birds or squirrels.
